My Most Anticipated July Book Releases

Wow I haven’t posted for a week πŸ™„ I’m currently experiencing a massive brain block where, for some unknown reason, I can’t seem to put the words together to form a witty intro so for todays post, this will have to do. Moving swiftly on….

colour projectTitle: The Colour Project

“Bernice Aurora Wescott has one thing she doesn’t want anyone to know: her name. That is, until Bee meets Levi, the local golden boy who runs a charity organization called The Color Project.

Levi is not at all shy about attempting to guess Bee’s real name; his persistence is one of the many reasons why Bee falls for him. But while Levi is everything she never knew she needed, giving up her name would feel like a stamp on forever. And that terrifies her.

When unexpected news of an illness in the family drains Bee’s summer of everything bright, she is pushed to the breaking point. Losing herself in The Color Projectβ€”a world of weddings, funerals, cancer patients, and hopeful families that the charity fundsβ€”is no longer enough. Bee must hold up the weight of her family, but to do that, she needs Levi. She’ll have to give up her name and let him in completely or lose the best thing that’s ever happened to her.”

library of fatesTitle: The Library of Fates

A romantic coming-of-age fantasy tale steeped in Indian folklore, perfect for fans of The Star-Touched Queen and The Wrath and the Dawn

No one is entirely certain what brings the Emperor Sikander to Shalingar. Until now, the idyllic kingdom has been immune to his many violent conquests. To keep the visit friendly, Princess Amrita has offered herself as his bride, sacrificing everythingβ€”family, her childhood love, and her freedomβ€”to save her people. But her offer isn’t enough.

The unthinkable happens, and Amrita finds herself a fugitive, utterly alone but for an oracle named Thala, who was kept by Sikander as a slave and managed to escape amid the chaos of a palace under siege. With nothing and no one else to turn to, Amrita and Thala are forced to rely on each other. But while Amrita feels responsible for her kingdom and sets out to warn her people, the newly free Thala has no such ties. She encourages Amrita to go on a quest to find the fabled Library of All Things, where it is possible for each of them to reverse their fates. To go back to before Sikander took everything from them.

Stripped of all that she loves, caught between her rosy past and an unknown future, will Amrita be able to restore what was lost, or does another lifeβ€”and another loveβ€”await?”

all that she can seeTitle: All That She Can See

Author: Carrie Hope Fletcher

Genre: Romance/Magic Realism

Release Date: 13th July 2017

Pre-order at: Amazon/Book Depository

“Feelings are part of life – feelings are life. If you take away what people feel, you take away anything meaningful. Wanting to diminish the evil in this world is a good cause, one I have fought for the majority of my life, but not like this . . .

Cherry has a hidden talent. She can see things other people can’t and she decided a long time ago to use this skill to help others. As far as the rest of the town is concerned she’s simply the kind-hearted young woman who runs the local bakery, but in private she uses her gift to add something special to her cakes so that after just one mouthful the townspeople start to feel better about their lives. They don’t know why they’re drawn to Cherry’s bakery – they just know that they’re safe there and that’s how Cherry likes it. She can help them in secret and no one will ever need to know the truth behind her gift.

And then Chase arrives in town and threatens to undo all the good Cherry has done. Because it turns out she’s not the only one who can see what she sees . . .

A story of love, food and a little bit of magic, All That She Can See is an enchanting and beautiful novel that’s guaranteed to be the most magical story you’ll read all year.”

A short and sweet post for a rainy Thursday afternoon but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.

Which books are you excited for next month? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I keep forgetting that The Library of Fates releases in July even though I included it in my own post of July releases I’m excited for, hahaha. I’m praying my library gets a copy of it since I don’t really have the money to spend on new releases right now!
